PostDoc iPSC-based Lung-on-chip to study viral infections

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establishment of viral infection model in iPSC based Lung-on-chip
- iPSC cell culture and differentiation
- development of tailored microbial assays
- testing of antiviral drugs and correlates of protection
- establishment of gut-liver models in a organ-on-chip platform
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology or similar studies
- experience with viral infection models
- experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, PCR and microscopy, incl. immune fluorescence staining
- experience with iPSC or OoC culture is a plus
- fluency in written and spoken English essential
- fluency in German is a plus
- experience working in a BSL-2 environment is a plus
