JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Establishment of viral infection model in iPSC based Lung-on-chip
  • iPSC cell culture and differentiation
  • development of tailored microbial assays
  • testing of antiviral drugs and correlates of protection
  • establishment of gut-liver models in a organ-on-chip platform

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology or similar studies
  • experience with viral infection models
  • experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, PCR and microscopy, incl. immune fluorescence staining
  • experience with iPSC or OoC culture is a plus
  • fluency in written and spoken English essential
  • fluency in German is a plus
  • experience working in a BSL-2 environment is a plus
